13 êì from Ustyuzhna there is a literary museum "The Mannor of the Batyushkovs", a branch of the Ustyuzhna Natural History Museum . It is located in the village of Danilovskoe. In the museum one can learn about the life , activity , family tree and surrounding of the Russian poet Konstantin Batyushkov, a teacher of A. Pushkin and his contemporary.
The exhibition devoted a Russian writer Alexandr Kuprin is located on the second flour of the mannor. Kuprin was a frequent guest of Danilovskoe,  passionate hunter and  attentive descriptor of everyday mannor life.  There are descriptions of Ustyuzhna and visible portraits of its inhabitants of the beginning of XX century.
	Literature Museum in Danilovskoe  was founded in  1960. In  1987  in the family mannor of the  Batyushkovs  a new memorail exhposition was opened.  An ancient parc of the Versaille style have been preserved in the mannor as well as its principal alley that  was planted the captured Frenches in 1813.
